October 2018 has been a hectic month. It's anti Human Trafficking month in South Africa and that means everyone in the industry wants to talk about it and write about it and show it. We've had some hectic things happening in our country. Right now we have the trial of a very flamboyant "pastor" Omotoso. He is a Nigerian pastor running a church the "Jesus Dominion International Church " but it seems that he is in dominion here. he is accused of amongst other things Human Trafficking and sexually abusing young girls. In answer to a DA's question in Parliament we have had 103 cases of human trafficking detected, 88 arrests but only 13 convictions. (which is better than previous years!!) Right now I am preparing to attend this years Mecaht conference in Rocklands Cape Town.  Going to be great mixing with some amazing people and hearing new things happening in the AHT world.

Family moments become so precious when for reasons not fully understood we grow up into smaller units of the once whole. It's always fun to come together and find the time to spend moments in each other's company.  there is always, though the lingering knowledge that we will soon go our separate ways again. That's how you know you've succeeded as a mom and a dad  - when your children can manage on their own.  They are successful and happy - you've done a good job.  These were taken at Nicole's wedding.  The first of our children to marry.  We welcomed Shaun into our family in 2016.  they have been married for a year now. Now we prepare for Mark's wedding to Amanda.  So pleased that he has found a beautiful, caring, amazing woman for his life partner.  We are so very happy to welcome her into our family.  Matthew has a lovely girlfriend and I know that she makes his heart sing. Natalie and Kaylie are a joy to have around...
